Wie der Titel schon vermuten lässt, handelt es sich im folgenden Workaround schon um etwas sehr Spezielles. In einer unserer Extensions haben wir Datensätze, in denen eine GoogleMaps-Karte dargestellt wird. Mit jedem Klick auf die Karte wird ein Marker erstellt und mit Hilfe eines AJAX-Requests direkt in der Datenbank gespeichert.

The TYPO3 Developer Days 2014 (#T3DD14) will take place from Thursday, June 19 to Sunday, June 22 in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. Currently only the date an location is set. More information about tickets, travel and accomodation will follow in the next weeks.

TYPO3 Neos is a big deal for anyone working with TYPO3 or the web. This major new release is one of the biggest and most ambitious open source projects and it’s just come to maturity, with the first stable versions released at the end of 2013. To help the community and the wider world get a head start on TYPO3 Neos a team of more than 30 core developers and technical writers are creating the Neos book. This book is for anyone who works with TYPO3 or wants to migrate to TYPO3 Neos.

The book will cover building complex, responsive sites from scratch, integrating with 3rd party systems and extending the functionality. Furthermore it will cover deployment, installation and management to production level.

The Neos Book is an initiative by 3ev, an UK-based TYPO3 consultancy, together with 30 other contributors from the TYPO3 community like Robert Lemke and Karsten Dambekalns.

The book will be available in beautifully produced book, eBook and PDF. To make the project possible there will be a crowdfunding campaign. The Inspiring Conference emerged from the Inspiring Flow Conference (2013) and  FLOW3 Experience (2012) and is currently the only international event covering only TYPO3 Flow and TYPO3 Neos topics. This years event will take place on March 28th and 29th at the fantastic location „Kesselhaus“ in Kolbermoor near Munich, Germany. Prior to the conference is a day full of workshops. The speaker lineup for the conference consists of well known experts from the TYPO3 and PHP community like Robert Lemke, Karsten Dambekalns or Sebstian Bergmann who guarantee an  exciting program.

Inspiring Flow Conference and FLOW3 Experience have already been awesome events which brought the experts and the community together. Since TYPO3 Neos has been released to the public last December it has gained a lot of attention. This conference will show how TYPO3 Neos is adapted in real world projects. It is a unique opportunity to get in touch with the Flow and Neos core team and discuss your experiences.

Die 5. Beta der kommenden LTS 6.2 von TYPO3 CMS wurde veröffentlicht. Weiterhin stehen die Performance, das Package Management und die Dateiabstraktionsschicht FAL im Vordergrund. Zudem ist zu sehen, dass an weiteren Baustellen aus dem Workpackages Initiative gearbeitet wird. Alles im allen… „fühlt“ es sich von Beta zu Beta immer besser an. Und so sollte es auch sein! 🙂
